Vitam Aeternam is an indie studio wishing to convey its passion for history through its video games. In these, the amateur learns, where connoisseurs use their knowledge to anticipate concrete historical situations.

History

Brief history

Thomas worked at Erupting Avocado, another independent game studio in Sherbrooke, for 2 and a half years, from 2017 to 2020, as a 3D artist. Curious to know the point of view of a programmer, he decides to resume studies, in computer science, in 2020. His passion for the creation of video games kept increasing, so he decides to launch his own game studio: Vitam Aeternam Studio, in March 2023.

Logo description

The studio's logo comes from the historical aspect of its games. For example, Latin reminiscent the Roman Empire. The imperial eagle-shaped logo, used by several dynasties through the ages, which takes the form of a fleur-de-lis, a symbol of French royalty and the province of Quebec. The name comes from the fact that the only way for a human being to reach eternal life is to make history forever.
